The mission of the Port Clinton City Schools is to inspire excellence in character and performance in every student by providing a safe, supportive and challenging environment, using community resources, and empowering our students to positively impact society.

Objectives
- 100% of students will experience 1 year of academic growth each year
- To have 100% of our students graduate with a post-graduation transition plan in place
- 100% of students participate in community service
Strategies
- Provide facilities that will prepare students for the 21st century.
- We will establish and implement a comprehensive plan to increase usage/application and integration of technology in the school district, classroom and curriculum.
- We will implement a plan to strengthen and expand district wide programs to increase our competitive edge.
- We will develop an educational environment that challenges students of every level and ability to compete in a global market.
- We will continually incorporate new ways to enhance student character and community service at all grade levels.
- We will develop a plan that to insure all children will have the opportunity to attend preschool.
- We will create outreach efforts to strengthen partnerships with business, parents and community to promote the belief that strong schools = strong community.
- To develop a plan to go green in all district operations.
- We will develop both traditional and innovative methods of revenue generation.
- We will offer ongoing focused internal and external staff development and collaboration opportunities.
